Boston, September 5, 1785 : Whereas I John de Neufville, on the 13th of August, was threatened in the name of Messieurs Leertouwer and Huyman, of this town, that they would advance me no more money, if I did not endorse to them all the bills of exchange for what was due to me in this state.
